curiousx Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Queen Street in Ottawa is not a rough area at all. She might be thinking of Toronto where there is a Queen Street that is mostly funky but has a block or two that are somewhat more 'challenging'. It's actually hard to think of any area in Ottawa that could be called rough !
MJRBIM Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 There's a small strip-club one block east of the Radisson near the Delta and the Crowne Plaza...but it's not a rough area.Expensive condos being built all around, and the National Archives and Supreme Court are 100 meters from the front door of the hotel.None of the truly high-end Ottawa area hotels (eg. Fairmont Chateau Laurier, Hilton Lac Leamy) come up on PriceLine or Hotwire - so for the money you did OK.
