Priceline Hotel: No luck-Up to 177 for 4* in SF 9/6-9/10

Hi, I have read all of the posts and seem to have no luck with SF from 9/6-9/10 for a 4*

I start with: Union square west, then increase geography to union square east, financial district, then soma-moscone center.

I have gone up to 177 with no bids.

Am I doing something wrong?

Rates are very high for your dates. Using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able find for a 4* hotel in one of these zones? Using this as a basis, how high are you willing to bid for a 4* hotel before lowing your star rating to 3.5*?
