This was a same-day reservation made from a computer located in the Pacific Time zone at 5:50 pm (Pacific Time) / 6:50 pm (Boise time). Hotwire claims to have a deadline for same day reservations of 6 pm local time for the hotel where you'll be staying. Priceline has the same published rule, and Priceline said I was too late to bid on a room for that night. However, despite this rule, Hotwire still allowed the booking. FYI.
