Hi I am new in this forum and never bid in pricelin. I am from Brazil and I'm going to Ny on december. For the new year night I want to bid a 3* hotel in Manhattan,specially these areas:

Central Park South

Chelsea Area

Empire State Building

Hell's Kitchen

Madison Square Garden

Midtown east

Midtown west

Times square - theatre district

The median retail price is $407 for a 3* hotel.Which bid I make?

I changed my plans, I will get an 4.5* or 4* for the period 31/12/2013 - 08/01/2014 - the median retail price is $272.

I was thinking to pay maximum $135 + tax.

Which zone(s) are you willing to accept?

I don't think your budget is likely enough for a 4.5* property, but did you want to try that first and if rejected then try for a 4* hotel... or is the goal the least expensive 4* or better for this trip?
