monika Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 Interesting bidding strategy I tried & it worked. I had been trying to get a resort San Juan for 10/22 (pre-cruise). I kept bidding $100 (and $110 rebid) which was continuously rejected. I had been trying this for about 3 or 4 weeks. Finally, $100 was accepted for San Juan Resort - Intercontinental 1 night 10/22.

Rejected at $95, hit at $100.Kind of knew it was the Intercontinental, because that's what was showing up on Hotwire, which wanted $119 (a bigger savings than I've seen of late by priceline).
