LexLuthor Posted August 12, 2013 Report Share Posted August 12, 2013 Hi,Looking to stay in Hershey area for 2 nights, arriving 8/24 checking out 8/26. 2 adults and 2 children.I priced through the HOTWIRE link here and see 3 options of interest:Hershey-Palmyra-Hummelstown Area2.5* $124/nightWould be nice if it was the Holiday Inn Express, but doesn't look like free breakfast with the basic room, so I think maybe not. I'm thinking in might be Best Western Harrisburg/Hershey, but isn't that out of the shaded area for this region that's indicated on the hotwire map?Those are the only 2 in your list that match the TA rating.Hershey-Palmyra-Hummelstown Area3* $163/nightNo 3* hotels in this area in your hotwire hotel list, so I'm totally stumped. Holiday Inn direct price appears to be $419 including tax for a refundable reservation for the same 2 nights, so not that much of a HOTWIRE discount.Will have to think this one over further. LexLuthor Posted August 15, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 15, 2013 Looking at this further.That 3.5* in Central Harrisburg isn't the Sheraton, I don't think.I plugged it in again and got 3.0 on TA, but TA has 3.5 for the Sheraton.Does that definitely eliminate the Sheraton? Any other ideas then?That Hilton charges $10/night parking and the La Quinta Inn is barely a discount off posted price. Link to comment
