Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Atlanta (Galleria) Wyndham Atlanta Galleria

Right now (August 2013) this property is the slut of Priceline in the Cobb Galleria area of Atlanta, GA. This property is undergoing a complete renovation with the noise that goes with it. If you bid anything between $50 to $60 for a 3 star property you will probably get stuck here (they'll say you were upgraded to a 3.5 star property). No fridges or microwaves; 90% of the 3 star properties in this area offer them, but not here. You can't get into a 3 star property in the Cobb Galleria area of Atlanta right through Priceline now unless the Wyndham is full...and they never seem to get full. CSX houses train crews here. These guys have a hard, lonely job away from home but they come and go at all hours of the night and they slam their doors when they do so. Housekeeping seems to have a contest early every morning to see which one of them can open and slam the most doors shut. The staff is very rude especially if they know you are staying through Priceline. You will get one of the old rooms, not the new ones.

Bottom line; I would advise against bidding for a 3 or 3.5 star property in the Cobb Galleria area of Atlanta until this hotel completes the renovation unless you really feel the need to stay at the Wyndham Cobb Galleria.
