I am planing to stay at cancun between 12/20~27. I search the hotwire and found this one:

any gurus could help me "guess" what hotel it is?

Did you try to match up the packages? Pick any departure airport for the same days as your stay.

Check the amenities of the 4* hotels that come up in the packages(hotel names are given).

If you find an exact match to your $155 hotel amenities, then you might have a good idea as to what hotel it is.

But there could be 2 hotels with the same amenities, so it is not a guarantee, just a good guess.

This property is already in our HOTWIRE HOTELS LIST (see 2nd post in that thread) and is a match for the Presidente Inter-Continental Cancun so that would be our best guess.

I just want to give a feedback about my hotwire reservation I did today.

I read through this board and learn sth. I split the seven night stay to two parts: 12/20-24 at cancun, and

12/24-27 at non-cancun ( it is very good to keep my budget and also get a chance to visit different places)

Hi, everyone,

I had an interesting quesiton here. you know when you go to Las Vegas Hotel, if you want to try your luck to get some free upgrade, you just show a $20 bill with your credit card and ask the people at the counter if free upgrade avaiable? that is so called "$20 free upgrade trick" which a lot of people use it and get what they want.

I am just curious anybody try this at Cancun hotels?
