Flavors Posted August 8, 2013 Report Posted August 8, 2013 Hi everyone, thanks for helping me!We are from Brazil, I'm planning a trip from 18-nov until 5-dec this year.I was in Orlando last and I stayed at Golden Link Resort Motel in Kissimmee (It's a very good 2-star), but this year we are 6 adults (40, 40, 36, 21, 15 and 10 years).I'm thinking to get 2 rooms with 3 people inside each, can I expect any problem making this by Priceline? We don't have much money and US Dollar exchange is getting worst each day (last year Dollar = 1.87 Reais(Brazilian Money), last month US$1 = R$2.17 and now US$1 = R$2.30), then I'm looking for something around $26. Last year I paid $21 plus tax! For this price, is it possible to find a 3-star hotel? In about 15 days ago there was a bargain by $27, but adding taxxes it would be to expensive for me. I'm also looking for Priceline Coupon Code without success now.Well, this is it. Since now many thanks to anyone who can help us!Sorry for my bad english, I'm trying to improve it...Best Regards,Flavors - Rio de Janeiro/Brasil.
thereuare Posted August 9, 2013 Report Posted August 9, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding!PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. If this is not a risk you're willing to accept, HOTWIRE may still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc). HOTWIRE considers 'children' to be ages 2-17... if you search HOTWIRE for 2rooms/4adults/2children does anything appear within your budget? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
