The 5* hotel in Sultanhmet in Istanbul is the Enderun Hotel. Avoid like the plague.

This place is very new, thus all the staff barely know what to do. To be fair, some try hard, and I commend them for that, but others, specifically the reception staff are rude and inconsiderate.

Breakfast is a very basic affair, and nothing to get excited about.

Our room had a huge gap at the base of the door, so we could hear everything in the corridor outside. Then the room itself; high ceilings, great; nice wallpaper, huh; barely able to walk around the bed, not great. The hotwire rooms have been carved out of a larger room, and as such, are very, very narrow.

All in all, I would avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere. There are far better options in Istanbul for the same money.
