First bid at $80, rejected.

Second bid at $92, rejected.

Third bid at $101, accepted.

Looks like parking is a bit steep ($50+), but otherwise, looks to be a good win at a good hotel.

edit: Sorry, this is a 4-star hotel. Accidentally missed that when posting the topic.

Excellent deal for this W property. While lake view is a paid upgrade, I'd ask for a high floor on the other side as you may get at least a partial view of the surrounding area.

Thanks for this bit of advice. I didn't even have to ask, the desk agent gave me room 3201 with a great view of the city.

The lake view from the elevator vestibule was amazing. Would have paid for an upgrade if I were staying for more than the 12 hours this go-around.

Parking was $60/night for valet, but there was a self-park garage a couple blocks away for $37/night.
