PRICELINE Express: these amenities are common to a number of 3*'s - Residence RN, Springhill, Best Western, Homewood, Four Points, Courtyard Mag Mile and Holiday Inn Mart Plaza. I'd guess the Four Points, Courtyard and Holiday Inn Mart Plaza would be more likely, although the result could be any of these.

HOTWIRE: I'd guess the Inn of Chicago.

I decided to try Priceline for the first time, here's how it went:

1. 3* @ $50 - rejected

2. 3.5* @ $65 - rejected

3. 3* @ $75 - WINNER Four Points by Sheraton

I suspected my third attempt would get flagged (since I'd bid 3* earlier this morning). In retrospect I wish I'd gone $5-$10 lower, but I'm splitting hairs. I'm very pleased overall.

I did place my PRICELINE bid through this site. BetterBidding is a solid resource, and will be using again in the future. That was fun.

Very good deal for this well-located property. There's tons of restaurant options nearby in the River North area, plus there's a Trader Joe's around the corner for snacks/drinks to take back to the hotel.
