Priceline Hotel: Resort Cancun (Downtown and Beaches) JW Marriott

If it had not been for the posts here, I would not have believed it. I have been scoping JW many months on Expedia and Marriott site. The best rate I could find was $200 in Nov and $239 in Feb or Fall (Sept). March and April are looking $429 on the lowest end so I had to try for the $105 steal!!!!

I bid this first:

Cancun, Hotel Zone/Downtown

5* at 80 REJECTED

5* at $102 REJECTED

Then added Resort option

and changed dates from April 14-19 to March 10-15

and increased price slightly to $105

And I got it!!! I am so happy...I am going to try to add more nights on the front or back end to stay longer than 5 nights. Also note, taxes and fees were a reasonable $68 charge.

Thank you to byeloe and the administrators of this site for helping me find such a great deal!! I am always weary of ending up in a dump or less than desirable hotel, but this is so cool! I am staying at Fiesta Americana Grand Coral beach over Thxgiving and am already planning my next getaway to Cancun. : )
