jas9503 Posted October 2, 2005 Author Report Share Posted October 2, 2005 I was initially trying to get Alexandria-Mt. Vernon or Crystal City. I started at 3 stars and worked my way down to 2 stars using a combination of bids for Alexandria-Mt. Vernon, Crystal City, and then Alexandria-Pentagon.I went up to $50 on Alexandria-Mt.Vernon and Crystal City at 2* before starting over using just Pentagon at $45.I went up to $62 on Alexandria-Mt.Vernon, Crystal City, and Alexandria-Pentagon at 2 1/2*.Based on all the web sites I visited, 10/6 (Thursday) is what made this a tough pull. I'm guessing all the business travelers are still in town. Hotwire had a big difference between 10/6 and 10/7-10/8. Link to comment
