I would love examples if you have any...And any other tip to help me get the best possible room would be great!!Thank you! :)

thereuare Posted July 1, 2013 Report Posted July 1, 2013 Yes, you should be able to get a 4* hotel for these dates at $220 or under. If you're willing to accept any 4* hotel in the zones that you're willing to accept, you can try PRICELINE, but here are some guesses if you're interested in having a guess of the hotel before purchase:$177 Millenium Broadway$190 Affinia ShelburneLet us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. iqdarko Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 Thank you! that sounds great..Do you have an estimate of what will cost me a 5* hotel? I am just curious heh...Thanks from your help!
thereuare Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 HOTWIRE has a 5* hotel in the Central Park East zone for $248/nite which i'm guessing to be The Carlyle, if that is of any interest, but not in the zones you've mentioned above. If this is a good option you could bid for a 5* up to $248/nite and if rejected take this HOTWIRE option... if you're only looking at the MTE, MTW, TS, CPS and ESB zones then a guestimate would be around $300.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed or and we'll try to assist further. thereuare Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that you're happy with the results. You're also near my often recommended Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city, makes for a nice, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast among local NYers.Thank you for sharing your win with the board.
