Priceline Hotel: Help for Vegas Hotel 10-17 & 10-18 - One King Bed

I am on a trip with my family (wife and baby) to California and the only days we have to visit Vegas are Monday, October 17, and checking out Wednesay, October 19. I would like to stay on the strip in a decent hotel (like the Alladin or Treasure Island) for around $100, but for some reason these dates are really high priced -- almost double from one week earlier! The only bargains I can find are dives like the Circus Circus or Stratosphere. Sites like travelworm.com suggest the Orleans Hotel or the New Frontier Hotel, which are both kind of a ways from the action.

Any expert help would be appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Most of the reviews on line of the Imperial Palace are pretty negative. At http://cheapovegas.com they even call it "creepy". Now I guess it's down to either the Boardwalk, to be close to the middle of the strip, or just hold our nose and head for Circus Circus! Oh well...

While Cheap-O-Vegas has a nice writing style, i have found their reviews and comments to be extremely old. These reviews are much more up to date and (imo) accurate as they're more than one person's opinion. If you go expecting it to be the Mirage, then you will be disappointed, but for the money, it's a decent place.

If you do book the Boardwalk please note that we are an affiliate and would appreciate you using our Boardwalk link to begin your purchase.
