Next day

BTW, when I stayed there last time with NYOP win, the resort fee ($28) was optional.

Congrats on your success. :)

Very nice win for this Renaissance property and the optional resort fee is certainly a plus.

Sorry for being unclear about my post.

I was told at front desk that $28 resort fee was optional for me, because of the way I booked the room.

The resort fee is supposed to cover self parking, turn down service, in-room wifi, and 2 bottles of water in room.

The things that I didn't get due to not paying resort fee were turn down service & in-room wifi.

The in-room wifi would've been $12 /day.

Do anyone know how other hotels handle resort fee with guests with NYOP win?

It will vary by hotel (and may vary by who you talk to), but resort fees (which are the same for those who pay full price) are usually not optional.
