Priceline Hotel: Need Help With Hotel 8/14-16 (Santa Monica/Beverly Hills/Hollywood)

I need two rooms for 8/14-8/16. Want to be in either West Hollywood, Beverly Hills or Santa Monica.

Can you give me some advice on realistically how low I can go for a 3.5* hotel or above.

Would love to be south of $110/night.

HOTWIRE has a 3.5* hotel in Santa Monica for $195 that i suspect may be the Hotel Erwin (when searching for only one room a different hotel is offered at $175/nite)... would this be acceptable? If so, you could use this as your maximum bid and try bidding on PRICELINE up to this amount. Is this inline with the budget you were expecting?
