Priceline Hotel: 5* Chicago (North Michigan Ave - River North Area)

PRICELINE showing a 5* in this zone for these dates - and I do not see a 5* in the lists or on the map.

Any speculation as to what this 5* could be, and what it might go for?

There have been no 5*'s reported to the board, so there is no way to know unfortunately which may participate. 5*'s in this zone include the Ritz, Park Hyatt, Trump, Four Seasons, Waldorf, Four Seasons. The new Langham MAY not be participating yet; it's not showing with a star rating yet on the retail side.

In terms of price, you're probably looking at $235-255 for a 5* in the River North-NMA area.

I'll add the Peninsula to the list above, and this, along with the Four Seasons or the Park Hyatt, would be my top three guesses for this one.

Probably out of my ballpark for this trip, but a nice dream none the less. Hotwire has a few 5*s in that range, but in my experience HOTWIRE has a lower threshold for 5* than PRICELINE does. Will let you know what I end up doing.
