Priceline Hotel: Looking for Cincinnati Downtown Sept 16-17

I used the PRICELINE link on this site to try to reserve a hotel in downtown Cincinnati for the Monday Night Football game. I wanted to give an update on here in case anyone else is looking for those same dates. Here are the bids I tried and didn't win. There is a discount code "summer" so it takes the price down.

3.5 star: $55, 65, 71, 85, 91, 99, 109, 115, 123, 129, 139, 145, 151

4 star: $71, 80, 85, 91, 101, 111, 123, 129, 135, 149, 159

Would any of the outlying areas be acceptable? What would be your desired budget per night for this stay?

HOTWIRE has a 4* downtown at $215.

Thanks for sharing your failed bid history as i'm certain it will indeed help others.

At current rates I'm guessing a 4* hotel for this nite may be in the $180-$200 area.

HOTWIRE does have a 2.5* property wchich i suspect may be the Ramada Downtown Cinncinati... the reviews are pretty bad, but it is 'only' $69/nite so i'll leave it to you to decide if the negative reviews is worth the trade-off in price.
