Priceline Hotel: Folly Beach or Edisto Beach - 8/6/2013-8/9/2013

I'm new to the name your own price, looking for suggestions on what price to start my bid at for a 3 or 4 star hotel, I would really like to score a hotel around 70 a night do you think this would be possible? I'm welcome to any suggestions. 2 Adults and 1 child. Thanks!

PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy/1 bed; HOTWIRE may be a better choice as you can indicate the amount of people in the party and that should result in bedding for the entire party (may be 2 beds or 1 + rollaway, etc.) If you do want to bid, is anywhere in PRICELINE's Folly Beach zone acceptable?

I think more important question is if you're willing to accept the double/triple risk occupancy.

Regardless, you may not be in the right ballpark price-wise... what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable 3* or better hotel thru conventional booking channels?
