grinwell Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 Used HOTWIRE links. Thanks for the lists--it actually showed up at $195 last Saturday and floated up and down all week (from $202-210). I tried bidding $180-195 on Priceline, but no dice. This was $720 cheaper (total) than I could get going through other sites!

thereuare Posted July 28, 2013 Report Posted July 28, 2013 I'm afraid i don't have any restaurant recommendations (no place that we ate 'blew me away' that it was memorable in the sense that i would say 'you have to eat here'), but i will note that it takes a quite a bit longer to get most places then you imagine as the main road of the island is mostly just a 2 lane road (unless it has changed since i was there 5+ years ago). You may look at a map and see that something is 20 miles away on the main highway and assume it's just 20 minutes away (assuming 60mph) and it may very well take you nearly twice as long. Thanks for the follow-up.
