Hi there. Looking at one night stay 8/10 downtown Chicago (North Mich. Ave). I considered booking the Hyatt Regency or Westin directly, but decided to look at Priceline first. Haven't done any bidding, and would prefer not to.

Here are the Express Deals I'm seeing:

Also, is there a chance the Hotwire 4* and Priceline 4* are the same property? The price for both has gone down a couple dollars in the past two hours.

Best guess for the 4.5* PRICELINE EXPRESS property would be The James or the Sofitel... but i wouldn't rule out the Conrad or Ivy as secondary possibilities. I don't have as much insight for the 4* property, but my guess would be the Westin River North or the Palomar.

For the 4* HOTWIRE hotel, my guess here would be the Westin River North.

We changed our plans by adding one night, and decided to just go for a bid--why not! We've never stayed at this property and are thrilled with the location. We got this on my first try for a 4* after doing multiple bids/rebids at 5* and 4.5*.
