Thetirados Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 Hi,I am looking for a hotel for October 12-16th in the disneyland - anaheim convention center - garden grove area. We are traveling with two small kids so want to be near disney and trying to stay very inexpensive on the hotel. Hoping to stay around $50-$55 total including fees. I've seen a couple of previous bids on the calendar won in the $40s for 3* hotels. Any bidding advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated. I also noticed there is a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for the same area for $37/night:Guaranteed Amenities:Free BreakfastFree InternetSwimming PoolCheck-in:Saturday October 12, 2013Check-out:Wednesday October 16, 2013Savings:Save over 25%*Price:$37.00 per room, per nightRooms:1Nights:4Discount Code:-$7.40 (summer)Taxes & fees:$34.72Total Price: $175.32Does anyone know which hotel this might be? Not many amenities listed to help guess! Should I take the express deal or try for a 2.5* or 3* with NYOP? Thanks in advance.
thereuare Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! Are you still seeing the 3* hotel in the Disneyland zone, as the 3* hotel i'm seeing in this zone when searching PRICELINE for your dates is priced at $78/nite.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Thetirados Posted July 25, 2013 Author Report Posted July 25, 2013 I see the one you are referring to. But actually I was thinking about the 2* for $37 because of the significant price difference. I wouldn't even rule out a one star since we are rarely in the room on our trips to Disney. But, 2* or 3* would be great!
thereuare Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 You previously didn't mention a star rating for the PRICELINE EXPRESS property so i assumed it was inline with the star ratings you had mentioned you had been looking for.I don't have a guess for the 2* PRICELINE EXPRESS property, just too many possibilities based upon the description provided.HOTWIRE does have what appears to be the Anaheim Travelodge for $41/nite if that is of any interest. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
