AaronJB Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 I'd guess the Millennium Broadway or Crowne Plaza TS.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Jay&Bobbi Posted July 24, 2013 Author Report Posted July 24, 2013 Recently purchased the Sheraton NY Times Square for 9/19-23 using Priceline Express Deals..Amenities: Internet, Restaurant, Fitness Center, Business Center, Pet-friendlyListed price was $183/night, less additional 10% coupon code, for net of $165/night, which sounds pretty good for mid-September. (Rate for MTW hotel with same amenities now appears to be $203)Thanks for your assistance in identifying the hotel
AaronJB Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 Congrats on your success. :)Nice deal for this property and hope you are looking forward to your stay.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
bestenborstel Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 Hi!Was this by any chance an educated guess or just luck, when you chose this deal, please?Thank you.BB
AaronJB Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 In terms of PRICELINE's Express Deals listings, you can narrow down the potential hotels at least somewhat. Sometimes the amenities are common to several hotels in an area.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Jay&Bobbi Posted July 25, 2013 Author Report Posted July 25, 2013 BB: Actually, the wonderful folks who run this site helped me ID the property which I first saw on HOTWIRE. I originally thought it may have been the Royalton, but I was informed that it more likely was the Sheraton. I then saw the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for $183 with the same amenities. Based on that info (and having a 10% discount code), I decided to take a chance, figuring $165 for any 4* in MTW or TS for those dates was a "deal", considering I already had $215+ bids rejected for "Name your own price" for those dates. So, we were very satisfied by getting the Sheraton.
jack300s Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 Very nice deal. It's interesting what a day or two does to the rates. I checked 9/21 to 9/25 and express is $360 MTW. How did you get the 10% discount code?
Jay&Bobbi Posted July 25, 2013 Author Report Posted July 25, 2013 The 10% off was a one-time use discount that came in an email from PRICELINE. Don't recall exactly why I got it, but I'm not going to complain :D I know PRICELINE has a 5% discount thru 7/31 (code "summer"), which is still better than nothing
