PricelineBabe Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Looking for the best rate for Saturday in either MLG or NMA area. Sunday prices caused the avg night rate to level off. But didn't want to lose a significant discount by including Sunday. Started around $70 and got up to $95 with nada. On the second day I saw a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal in the MLG area for $130. Read on the forum that the going rate for the weekend was around $130, saw the Hard Rock mentioned. Thought I might be able to get it lower. Used the Priceline forum link. Got the W Hotel for $116. Pleasantly surprised. Used the promo SUMMER to get an additional 5% off. Confirmation didn't show the discount, so I called customer service and shortly they issued the refund.
AaronJB Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Congrats on your success. :)This property has rarely ever been seen as a win - it used to be a VERY different looking property, but they changed its appearance a year or so ago pretty considerably during a renovation.
