ramz Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 My fiance has never been to NY. I on the other hand have. We are arriving Oct 19th for 3nighs and I want to try priceline as we are on a budget of 150 to 165 a night. I would like to stay near all the top attractions and close to subways. Just would like a hotel were we walk out our front door, and we are walking distance to everything. I know it's a lot to ask, but can anyone help us bid on a hotel that can meet our needs. I know we wont know which, or were, our hotel will be, but a bid that will at least get us as close as possible. Thank you for your help.
AaronJB Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding. What would be your desired star rating? Unfortunately, $150-165 definitely may be difficult in October, as Fall is a very busy period.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

ramz Posted July 25, 2013 Author Report Posted July 25, 2013 As of now we are driving. But that can change and fly into JFK!!
thereuare Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 I would like to stay near all the top attractions...Although dense and compact, NYC is geographically large so you can't choose one location and be closer to everything... your goal, imo, should be to have a central location where you easily get to most locations via subway, as given the size, there is not one location that puts everything within walking distance. However, the bigger issue at the moment is your budget as $175 doesn't go very far at this time of year.PRICELINE EXPRESS does have a 3.5* property in the ESB zone for $188/nite (less the 5% discount link in my signature brings this close to your $175 budget)... is this an option for you, or if you want to try bidding, let us know which zone(s) (by PRICELINE name) are acceptable and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
