Jubilee Posted July 25, 2013 Author Report Posted July 25, 2013 Thank you.I think we will try to find something Kensington or Knotting Hill area as to save travel time to most major attractions. We are looking for a hotel that has elevator as we are traveling with elderly, how can we match this need with the secreat hotels?
thereuare Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 I would think that most 4* and higher hotels would have an elevator, but you can probably increase your chances with hotels that show the 'Room Accessible' amenity on the assumption that if the rooms are designed to be accessible for wheelchairs that the hotel has some method in place to get wheel chaired customers to the rooms. However, i don't think that this would be guaranteed, although i would think (my opinion) that should you purchase a hotel with this amenity and they don't have an elevator (or can guarantee you a room on the first floor) that HOTWIRE would be willing to work with you in some way (but again, i can't assure that this would be the case, but they are generally a very reasonable company to work with when it comes to customer service issues).Let us know if/how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. If PRICELINE / HOTWIRE aren't right for you for this trip, you may want to search our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com which makes it easy to visually see hotels near almost any address or landmark, as well as how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating or to stay further/closer for your ideal location. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
