adib
I need a little assistance. I'm trying to get a 4* hotel for late October for a long weekend. I'm trying to get it for somewhere between $85-$100. What is a good way to do this? Link to comment

thereuare
At the 4* level you have two re-bid zones available, if you're not familiar with re-bidding please read PRICELINE RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board. You have some time before your stay so this is how i would bid:Select 4* NMA...Bid $66, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.Any questions feel free to ask. adib
Finally got a room!! :) Not quite the area that I was wanting and a little more than I wanted to pay, but not too bad either. I ended up getting the Palmer House Hilton for $102 a night. I've heard some good things about it, so it should be a great time. Link to comment
thereuare
What was the amount of your previously rejected bid in this zone? (or did you add the Loop zone to a previously rejected bid and accepted the first time this zone was added?) adib
My last rejected bid was $80.00 in this area. I was bidding in both the NMA and the Loop. I had been bidding pretty low, between $70.00 and $85.00, but none were getting accepted. I started to get a little worried when I heard that the World Series was going to be in Chicago around the same time I was there, so I upped my bid. Link to comment
