Hotwire Hotel: 4* Miami (South Beach) Royal Palm

I wanted to specifically book the Royal Palm hotel for 2 nights. Looking at hotwire (thru savingsbarn), the price showed at $71. Looking to validate the location, I came across the July discussion on "resort" fees of $20/day at this hotel. At the price disclosure screen I see the following:

No. of rooms: :1

No. of nights: :2

Price per night: $71.00

Subtotal: $142.00

Taxes/Fees: $70.00

Total Price: $212.00

All taxes & fees included.

Prices are in $USD.

Note that "all taxes and fees" included.

This led me to assume that the the "resort" fee was included.

When I booked it, I get the following in the confirmation

Total Price $212.00

Some hotels may apply additional charges for incidental

fees such as parking. Prices are in $USD

So which is it Hotwire????

(btw, at that price the $20 fee won't kill the deal, just tick me off)

The fees that Hotwire is refering to in "includes all taxes and fees" is their (hotwire's) booking fee.

It is stated elsewhere that 'resort fees, parking, etc' is extra, but i suppose given their wording above you could argue it with them (as the above should read "includes all taxes and booking fees"

Can you please add the amenties that were shown before purchase, you can still view these by going to Hotwire and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.

Thereuare, thanks for the fast response, it simply appears that HW does needs to modify the standard text disclaimer to keep the dissapointment level down

The amenities have not changed and it is rates as 4* and a best value (at that price I asssume)
