DomoBetterBidding Posted July 22, 2013 Report Posted July 22, 2013 NEED 4*+ in NYC for 7/30-8/2/13Prefer TS then MSG, MTS, MTW, Empire, CPS, UESbudget is less than $150 before tax.Was hopeful seeing MTW Sheraton New York Times Square and New York Hilton Midtown wins at $110-160 recently.Bid before and used add a zone with lesser *s and was unsuccessful from $110-140 with 6 rebids.I have not seen the Close Browser and re-click PRICELINE link before. I tried this but it said I already bid and had to wait 24 hrs.Read through forums.Any other tips on a successful win on the above?Thanks!

DomoBetterBidding Posted July 27, 2013 Author Report Posted July 27, 2013 Tried and tried over several days to get this booked. went up to $160 but it didn't take.Looked at PRICELINE EXPRESSDeals and then Moved over to Hotwire and found a 3.5* at $139. Checked HW Hotel List and all 3.5*s were better options than lowering * rating on Priceline.Posted HW win over there.Thanks for the help!!!!!!Great forum! DomoBetterBidding Posted July 27, 2013 Author Report Posted July 27, 2013 couldn't get Priceline bids to work in and around Times Square / Theatre district for 4* at $150/nt. found $139 price in this zone, checked hotel list and confirmed all were adequate and located in reasonable area.Thanks BetterBidding for all the info to make an educated decision.
