AaronJB Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 This would be a possible match for Aria.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
dfws4 Posted July 23, 2013 Author Report Posted July 23, 2013 I just checked again today and the same hotel came up but this time the rate went down to $87.00. Do you still think it will be a possible match for the Aria? Thank you
thereuare Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 If the amenities are exactly the same (no more and no less) then yes, the Aria would still be the best guess. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. dfws4 Posted July 23, 2013 Author Report Posted July 23, 2013 Sorry, I have one more question. Do you know if there is anyway we can guarantee 2 beds in the room?
thereuare Posted July 23, 2013 Report Posted July 23, 2013 The short answer is that you can't.The longer answer:HOTWIRE guarantees accommodations for everyone that you include in your search. So if you include 2adults/2children it ensures sleeping accommodations for four people, which should equate to two beds, but the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc. However, searching for quad occupancy will often increase the room rate per nite vs. searching for only double occupancy.ALSO NOTE that in Vegas most of the higher end hotels now charge more for rooms with two beds (vs. rooms with one bed) even when booking direct, so even if you book for double occupancy and try to request a room with two beds at check-in, it would not be surprising, and the hotel would be within their rights, to charge for an upgrade to do so. (sometimes you get lucky and the check-in clerk is willing to do it at no charge, but i would expect to pay for an upgrade... if you get it for free then consider it to be the start of a lucky Vegas trip :) )Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
