We really don't care where in Manhattan we stay, any of the Priceline zones will work well. If we had our choice, though, MTE, MTS or SoHo would be preferred. Hotwire has a 4* hotel in the Dowtown area for $170/nite, so can would you follow a strategy up to that amount? Tywwia Posted September 29, 2005 Author Report Share Posted September 29, 2005 I would have gone as high as 150, we were looking for a nice deal that would make NYC preferable to a regularly priced hotel in New Jersey, BUT - in the last 12 hours, plans have changed, and are much less certain. Therefore, it looks like I will not be able to commit to a prepaid hotel stay that night, at least not until much closer to the date. So it probably does not make sense to ask you to sepnd any additional time on this. Thank you for your response and interest, it is much appreciated but we probably can drop it for now...
