If this property is indeed 3.5* rated, the Avalon Hotel would be my best guess for this one.

I'm not currently seeing the Ocean Drive property when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing this property on your own search and/or are you searching for more than one room or something other than the default 2adults/0children?

Best guess for the Oceanfront Collins property would be The Sagamore Hotel.

I researched again now. The Ocean Drive property diminished the value to $ 164 on HOTWIRE. I researched the amenities on HOTWIRE EASY TAB.

I see a 4* hotel in the Ocean Drive zone for $164/nite but it has much fewer amenities then the 4* hotel you listed in your post above... does the 4* you're currently seeing still list all of those amenities?

I did a direct deal with a 4 * hotel in South Beach for $ 140 with breakfast included (using a promotional code). I was already a customer of this hotel chain.

The hotel's name is Pestana South Beach.
