Traveling with two teen sons and wife, trying to book 2 rooms from Aug 11 to 14th and want to stay in a 4+ star in the Foggy Bottom area. Trying to keep it in the $150 / night / room range (Canadian)

Hotwire comes up with one at $149

75% approval rating by hotwire users and a 3.5 on tripavisor...seems a bit low for a 4 star?

Thank you for the guidance. The area was recommended by a friend. I am open to other ideas! The trip is for general experience of the City and the sights. My boys are 16 and 18 and quite interested in history. My challenge is having to pay for two rooms and keeping my wife happy (picky about hotels).

Some other ideas as to what i think i'm seeing around the same price point:

4.5* White House zone: Loews Madison Hotel for $141/nite

4* Capitol Hill: The George Hotel for $118/nite

Both of the hotels above are highly rated and should put you centrally located near most of the sights and convenient to mass transit. Georgetown is a nice area, but some parts of the zone are not covered as well by the metro.
