Hello,

this was my first try with PRICELINE and i get it with the second bid.

I don't know if it is a good price for this hotel but i think it is ok.

Only the 20$ park fee is not so fine... so my question is if there's a free parking zone in this area?

Thanks!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Congratulations on your success!

This is an excellent price and a substantial discount for this property for this nite... well done!

I'm not local to the area so i can't help with any parking info, but i have been to La Jolla once, and i recall parking to be tough, which i'm sure it will be during the summer. Many of the streets have 1 hour or 2 hours time limits, and it may just be best to find a independent parking lot that will be cheaper than parking at the hotel.

The parking by the Marriott in La Jolla should be okay. It's in an area with mostly office buildings (that have their own parking) and across the mall (which also has its own parking). Far enough from UCSD and other walkable attractions that there should be plenty of street parking. The best thing to do is to drive around the block and assess the street parking situation before shelling out extra money for parking at the hotel.
