Priceline Hotel: Help on Disneyland trip Jan 2-Jan 7 2014

I need some help with bidding on priceline for five nights in January 2014 (Disneyland - Anaheim South - Orange - Garden Grove or North

Which is better? ) Ideally I would want to stick to a $50 budget tops to be able to consider resort fees, parking etc. We are renting a car so proximity is important

But not first choice. Can I have some help?

Where should I start? Is it too early to start bidding? Our dates are not flexible so we don't have a problem with committing to travel.

I'd start now at least researching rates and maybe making initial bids. What would be your desired star rating per night and does your $50 budget include taxes/fees or are you looking at $50 + taxes/fees?
