With taxes and fees, the total is $60.74

I am going to say that I am pleased, though unaware of the normal prices for a 3 1/2 Star.

Originally wanted to be in Perimeter in a 4-star but had to go through the bidding process about 5 times and changed my mind. I may have been bidding too low

My bid history (each # is a new bid, not a re-bid):

1. I started with $50 in Perimeter for a 4 1/2 star, then added Peachtree Norcross, then added Marietta...etc, etc added $1 each time, up to $54 but that was out of my budget so I started over.

2. I started with $25 and built up to $46 and got kicked out of the system and escorted to the "Express Deals" page, where I saw a hotel for "3½ Star Hotel in Peachtree Corners - Norcross" for $47.00

3. Went back to bid started with $46 in Perimeter, was told I had to change something or wait 24 hours so I added Peachtree Corners and got the Atlanta Marriott Norcross for $46 even, with $5.62 in taxes and $9.12 in fees.

Did I do something crazy? Is this a good deal? (I can ask in another section if that is more appropriate).

All in all, I'm willing to go with the flow. This is a surprise birthday present after all ;)
