SummerDayz Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Hi BetterBidding! My first time attempting a post. Looking to stay in the Financial District in San Francisco and hoping for a 4 star b/t $150-180. Is this realistic? If not, what's a good starting point? Any bidding strategies are welcome as I feel a bit clumsy about this. Am willing to try SOMA or Union Square as well.Thank you in advance for any advice.
AaronJB Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 $150-180 is worth trying but given the rate/s on these dates unfortunately may come up a bit short in the Financial District zone at the 4* level. Additionally, are you only interested in the Le Meridien or would other hotels be acceptable? There is no way to guarantee a particular hotel when bidding.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
SummerDayz Posted July 15, 2013 Author Report Posted July 15, 2013 Would like LeMeridien but very open to others. Given what you said, perhaps I'll start at $190 and work up from there. Thanks.
thereuare Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 Did you only want to bid the Financial District at first up to a certain amount... or is the goal the least expensive 4* or better in any of your acceptable zones?Let us know what you would like to try first, as well as your maximum bid, and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
