willmh9 Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Looking to book a hotel in San Francisco 7/27/13 to 7/29/13 ASAP. Looking to stay in Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf area. Want to keep price low (definitely below $200, preferably below $160 per night) How many stars should I search for? (don't care if hotel is super nice as long as it is clean, no bed bugs) Should I bid on USW, USE, and Fisherman's Wharf or only one at a time?
thereuare Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding!A maximum bid of $200 may land you a 4* hotel in one of these zones... but a maximum bid of $160 may only be enough for a 3* hotel. Not sure if a 3.5* bid would win someplace in between of if such a bid would be upgraded to the 4* level before it won at 3.5*.Let us know what star rating and maximum bid you would like to try for first and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow..Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
