LP1975 Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 I saw what appeared to be the 3 1/2 star Sheraton listed as a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $76/night. Using name your own price, I bid several times from $55 up to $66...all rejected. Then the bid of $71 was accepted. The guaranteed amenities listed were:-Swimming pool-Exercise-Restaurant-Business centerOffer Price:$71.00Rooms: 1Nights: 2 + Add nights for the same rate!Room Subtotal: $142.00Taxes & Fees: $30.36Priceline Hotel Coupon: -$7.10 Congratulations! Your 5% coupon applied!Total Charged to Card: $165.26As for the room, it didn't quite meet it's star rating. The room had a toilet that didn't stop flowing water when flushed. The repair guy came to fix it but we got moved to a new room. In the new room, the AC was loud when starting up and woke us up during the night. Tub faucet had a drip. Toilet seat must have been pretty old...the paint was bubbling off of it all over. But the rest of the room was otherwise clean and comfortable. Overall I was ok for the price we paid.
