Hotwire Hotel: Barcelona 2 adults 2 children possible though Hotwire? Also help to identify

Hey everyone....new to the forum. I live in the uk but have heard about this site for a long time now. Ive been trying to read up about it and now have decided to play around, so I am looking to go to barcelona 05/08/-08/08-13. For 3 nights. 2 adults 2 children (adged 12 & 9)

I have looked on Priceline for those dates and this description is coming up Forum-Poblenou-Beachfront for £313 (that's about $472) can you help me to find out what this hotel,is?

One other thing is I'm looking at Hotwire also but they are not giving me the option to put in the kids at all I need a room that will sleep 4 which I appreciate make things a lot harder, but I really don't mind splitting up the room. I would prefer to stay in the la ramble south barcelonetta area or San Martin/forum area. I don't know if its cheeky or not to say I want a 5* for a similar price above or is rhat asking too much?

Sorry if this post is abit long but just want to get all the info out.

Please list currency in USD$ before taxes/fees, thanks. For HOTWIRE: Please change the drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOTWIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase..

On PRICELINE, are you looking at the bidding side of the service or the express deals side of the service? If the latter, what amenities are showing? If the former, there is no way to know exactly which hotel may accept when bidding. If you bid for a 4* in a particular zone, you have to be willing to stay at any 4 in the zone chosen. Additionally, PRICELINE only guarantees one bed/double occupancy.

On HOTWIRE, you should see both a place to select adults and children - are you not presented with that option on the front page of the service? HOTWIRE is a better option than PRICELINE in this case, as it offers the ability to indicate four in the room and should then ensure bedding for the party (that may be 2 beds, 1 + rollaway or 1 + sofabed.)

Yes I see it. I have done the search room rate is $140 per room per night. I will not use Priceline on this occasion due to no guarantees on beds. The price stated is with Hotwire so will continue to look on this site. Amenities for this particular hotel....

The Salles Hotel Pere IV would be my best guess for this one.

Thanks for that but still looking around. I seen this one recently $157.00 per room per night. Dates as above. Area same as above Forum/Poblenou/Beachfront. This hotel has a pool though so very appealing for my children.
