rokugatsu Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Hi there,I'm staying for one night on July 18.Would like to pay $115 for a 4* in either LES, MTE, MTW, Chelsea, Hell's Kitchen or Soho. Please advise on bidding strategy. Thank you!
thereuare Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 My guess is that $115 may fall a little short, but if so, it's not likely too far off the mark, so we can start there and revise if necessary. When bidding 4* in NYC you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* LES, MTE, MTW...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $93, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 4* Chelsea, HK, Soho...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $93, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 4* Chelsea, MTE, MTW...Bid $98, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $103, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 4* LES, HK, Soho...Bid $98, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $103, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 4* LES, HK, MTW...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $108, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 4* Chelsea, MTE, Soho...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $108, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 4* LES, MTE, Soho, Chelsea, HK, MTW...Bid $113, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $118Any questions feel free to aks. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. rokugatsu Posted July 13, 2013 Author Report Posted July 13, 2013 Hi there,Tried this and bid wasn't accepted. I expanded my zones to MSG, CPS and Empire State Building area and still no luck at $120. I can also go down to a 3.5* as well. Do I restart at $90 again? Thanks.
