Priceline Hotel: Marco Island

Good evening from Milano,

i just made yesterday my first priceline bid in Miami Area, was great.

Now i would like to go the Marriott Resort & Spa in Marco Island.

In the map and as in the hotel list they have two hotels : Marriott and Hilton.

The Hilton has now spa, i think, but this doesnt help me right?

How can i be sure to get the Marriott? No idea?

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose.

With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.

Also, you can't use the 'retail' section of the board to determine what you will get when bidding, as the two sides of their service use a different universe of hotels... some properties participate on the retail side but not the bidding side, and vice-versa with some hotels participating on the bidding side but not the retail side. Are you willing to accept any 4* hotel in the zone? What is your maximum budget for this nite? (per nite before fees/taxes?)

Well i would only accept the 4* Marriott Resort. is listed approx 180 $ last time i looked it up . i would pay for bid also 120, but if you tell me i have no clue if i get this one or the Hilton i would rather not risk it.

To avoid disappointment i would suggest booking thru a non-opaque source where you know the name ahead of time.
