thereuare Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 Yes, the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals can have Resort fees as well... is this a deal breaker for you?As your previous purchase was for just one nite why not that the $50+ you're considering spending on an additional property, do something fun in the area in order to be in the hotel as little as possible, and then leave the following day to your next location. Also, if you're trying to know resort fees ahead of time and/or have an educated guess as to the property offered, HOTWIRE is probably a better option... it's usually costs a little more than PRICELINE (that is the trade-off) but HOTWIRE 1) usually shows the resort fee (if any), and 2) provides more information about the property which makes it easier to take a guess as to what you may be receiveing... PRICELINE EXPRESS amenities are still very generic, which as you can see from above, both 3* hotels you asked about have the same amenities and both 2.5* hotels have the same amenities... not really much to go on.What is it that you're looking for from a 'replacement hotel' that your previous win doesn't meet the criteria? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know your thoughts and we'll take it from there. Phan Posted July 10, 2013 Author Report Posted July 10, 2013 thanks for your answer.the resort fee is not always a killer. the previous orlando hotel still has a good price with it and i may use it for one night. When i'm looking for new hotels i wanted to avoid the hotel fee and bid more for the actually hotel. but if even the express deals could have it I may better switch to Hotwire (i had a look on hotwire, but as you said the deals are not as good as from priceline). But anyways it would be better to know which amenities i get (especially free parking & wifi).
thereuare Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 To see the resort fee, if any, for a HOTWIRE offer click the offer and on the subsequent page look at the first 'box' at the top of the page OR in the "Know Before You Go" box at the bottom of the page, and any resort fee is typically shown there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know if you find anything of interest on HOTWIRE and how we can be of further help.
