Hey everyone,

I've been looking up Vegas hotels all day as my friends and I are planning on going soon.

I used the HOTWIRE link on this site and got this:

Price: $296 other sites, $214/night on hotwire

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Golf Nearby

Tennis Nearby

Spa Services

Accessible path of travel

In-room accessibility

Accessible bathroom

Handicapped parking

Roll-in shower

Would greatly appreciate getting help IDing this. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for taking the time to answer this for me. I will update as to what I end up doing. I am new to the whole Hotwire/Priceline experience, so I'm going to take a few more days before I make a decision. Will definitely use the sites HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links though!

Thanks for the help.

What I'm looking for is quad occupancy and not double occupancy, should I not be looking at hotels on Priceline as they do only double occupancy?

I used the site's HOTWIRE link to search for some more deals. I am looking for a 5* hotel south of the strip. I got these two options for the same dates:

Dates: 10/4/2013 - 10/6/2013

Price: $331 on other sites, $207 on hotwire

Amenities:

Resort

Free Parking

Casino

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Golf Nearby

Spa Services

Accessible for the blind

Accessible for the deaf

Accessible path of travel

In-room accessibility

Accessible bathroom

Handicapped parking

Roll-in shower

and the other option is

Date: 10/4/2013 - 10/6/2013

Price: $324 on other sites, $156 on hotwire

Amenities:

Free Parking

Free Internet

Suite

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Golf Nearby

Spa Services

Accessible for the blind

Accessible for the deaf

Accessible path of travel

In-room accessibility

Accessible bathroom

Roll-in shower

I'm guessing Aria for the first and Vdara for the second?

Also another question, would it be wise to input 3 adults if I plan on 4 or more. I figured I'd be able to get the price reduced even more, and still get quad occupancy. Thanks in advance!

Best guess for the first one would be the Aria or the Bellagio, but the Aria is seen much more frequently so simply from a probability point of view that would be the better guess for this one, but you should at least be prepared for either.

I agree with the Vdara guess for the second property.

You can try searching for triple occupancy vs. quad occupancy to see if the price gets reduced at all but you'll then need to make sure that not everyone goes to the desk at check-in (and you may also not be able to get a key for everyone as it would seem odd that you need four keys for three guests). You can also try adding a child at the 4th person in the room as that may not increase the price but give you a reason to ask for 4 keys.

Hey thanks a bunch you all have been a great deal of help. I spoke to my friends about our plans, we all decided our ideal hotel would be the cosmopolitan as we are all young guys in our mid 20's. Any idea how often Cosmopolitan shows up on Hotwire?

There is no way to 'force' HOTWIRE to show a specific property on any given search. As well, some hotels never show up for quad occupancy (i'm not sure if the Cosmo is one such hotel or not) as guaranteeing quad occupancy makes it a bit more difficult for them to manage their room inventory since they are guaranteeing you a specific room type, as opposed to booking a room for double occupancy where they are flexible in assigning you to a room with one or two beds based upon what is available at check-in.

Remember, the opaque suppliers are for travelers that are flexible in their plans... being flexible is the trade-off for the deep discounts that are usually available thru the opaque suppliers.

Ok thanks again for the help. Yeah I figured the Cosmopolitan would be difficult to get as I have not seen many cosmo posts. I will continue to use the website's link for hotwire for another week until I see the best I think I can get. We are pretty flexible but the cosmo is our number one preference. I'll update with more information at a later time. Thanks!

Hey everyone. So after much deliberating with my friends, we decided to not use hotwire or priceline as we wanted either the MGM Grand or Planet Hollywood. We ended up booking a queen suite at the MGM Grand. Thanks again for all your help and will definitely return next time I have more flexible options!
