I've gone from $65 up to $150 with no success. Can someone please help? I googled and there is a food conference from the 13-16th but geezus... what other options do I have? Thanks,

thereuare Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 At current rates you don't have many options... with retail rates for these dates running $300+ hotels likely have high occupancy and there is little or no reason to offer very deep discounts thru the opaque suppliers. You could look outside of the 'downtown' area, staying out by the airport perhaps... it's not nearly as convenient as staying Downtown, but the $100+ per nite savings may make the hour train ride worthwhile. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. AaronJB Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 If you're driving, you could likely get a 4* in the $65-75 neighborhood. If you're not driving the suburbs become more difficult because a number of the hotels are not within walking distance of public transit (relatively easy driving distance, yes - but not walkable.) Downtown hotels are either pricey or entirely sold out - at the 4*'s downtown you're probably looking at as much as $225-250.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

We have used this thread to reflect your first purchase of the JW Marriott, can you please post your second win of the Westin St. Francis as a NEW TOPIC so other will know about that win as well when searching the topic titles on the board and in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins.
