I found your site very helpful. After several days looking at normal booking sites and Hotwire, the hotel prices in SF are really high for these dates in the Fishemans Wharf, USE, and Financial District. Attempted Priceline a couple of times using the PRICELINE link on this site. Tried several bids for 4* starting at $150.00, starting with Fishermans Wharf, then add Financial District ($160.00), then add USE ($170.00), no luck in each attempt. Added 3.5* and kept the rate at $170.00 as a last ditch before trying again tomorrow and got the Marriott Fishermans Wharf.

I'm happy about the win, rate is running at $299.00/night on Marriott website.
