This HOTWIRE property is a match for the Westin Casuarina so that would be my best guess for this one.

We're looking to stay under $400, for the three nights total (after taxes... preferably after resort fee, too, but that's another story).

We'd love to get closer to the $300 mark, as we're kicking ourselves for not booking straight with Planet Hollywood the day we discovered we'd be traveling to Las Vegas - they had a rate for about $310 (pre-resort fee). But, woulda, shoulda, coulda...

What appears to be the Westin is back on Hotwire at the time of this post - curious about another option. Could be a definite possibility:

My guess for the one above would be the Luxor.

PRICELINE EXPRESS has a $131/nite rate for a 5* hotel in the Strip South zone (Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Fitness Center)... using the discount link and code in my signature brings your fees/tax rate to $436/nite, which is close to your $400 budget and i think would be worth the extra $35 over the other options that have been presented.

There is also a $119/nite 4.5* property (Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Fitness Center) which would bring you within your $400 budget, but that may be Mandalay Bay which for my taste is a little too far south of the strip OR the Elara which is slightly off-strip.
