AaronJB Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 Were handicapped parking and pet friendly also showing? As I've noted in other threads for this property, there are a number of breakfast options nearby. A trio that comes to mind would be Wildberry (newer and very popular - http://www.yelp.com/biz/wildberry-cafe-chicago), the Pittsfield Cafe (an old-school Chicago diner in the Pittsfield building - cash only http://www.yelp.com/biz/pittsfield-cafe-chicago) or the Rick Bayless casual offering Xoco (http://www.yelp.com/biz/xoco-chicago).If you are looking for a breakfast treat, somewhat further West (although not that terrible of a walk) is the Doughnut Vault (http://thedoughnutvault.tumblr.com/), but that is cash only and they sell until they run out.
EscapeTheCube Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 Thanks for the breakfast recommendations. No, it didn't list handicapped parking or pet friendly as amenities in the Hotwire listing. However, Wyndham's website does list itself as being pet friendly.
thereuare Posted July 3, 2013 Report Posted July 3, 2013 Did you double check the amenities thru the MY ACCOUNT link at the top right of HOTWIRE's home page... as a current search for your dates does show the amenities you previously listed, but also Handicapped Parking and Pet Friendly. Maybe this hotel is using multiple amenity sets from one search to the next. Thanks again! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
